Foster Barn and Garden Tour

Sponsored and organized by the Foster Preservation Society, come see some beautiful New England barns and gardens, experience a piece of living history. Tracy Mahaffey will be demonstrating stone carving all day and have some finished stone carvings on display at the "Paine-Bennett" farm, owned by Dick and Cathy Walls.



Paradise City Arts Festival

"Take an Arts Break" North Kingstown Art Council

Fuller Craft Museum

Samaritan Carvers will be set up and demonstrating in a workshop room during the Museum's "Free Wednesday Night" open house. Come out to meet and greet the artist, as well as see work in progress and finished carvings.



Art in the Making, a self guided open studio tour - free admission

Scenic Northwest Rhode Island
This will be the 9th annual Fostering Arts Open Studio Tour. Our studio, as well as 11 other artists' studios, will be participating and open to the public for the day. A small map will be available to direct you to participating studios and, as much as possible, routes will be well marked with signs.

Visit each artist's unique studio, from old barns to newly built spaces. Experience art in the making and learn more about the processes involved in stone carving, wheel thrown pottery, high fire porcelain, printmaking, oil painting and more.



Coggeshall Farm Harvest Fair

Set on 48 acres, Coggeshall Farm Museum is an historic 18th century farm house with a working farm featuring rare breed livestock, heirloom gardens, fruit trees, and costumed live interpreters ready to share more about rural life in Bristol during the Federal period.

This will be Coggeshall Farm Museum's 36th annual Harvest Fair. At the heart of the Fair are live demonstrations of historic and traditional crafts and skills represented by artisans from across the Northeast. The fair will also offer traditional competitions, quality vendors, and unique entertainment.

Tracy will be at the Harvest Fair demonstrating stone carving as well as showing some of our recent work.



"Lost Arts Show" Updike Park (corner of Brown St. and Main St.)

Foster Old Home Days

Foster Old Home Days is a much anticipated home town event: a lively and friendly small town Fair. There will be the traditional horse pulls, pie tasting and many local vendors. On Sunday we will be demonstrating the art of hand carving stone (when we are not tasting the fresh baked goods that are available throughout the fair weekend)!



Westerly Reflections - The Artists' Cooperative Gallery of Westerly

We are now members of The Artists' Cooperative Gallery of Westerly and will have at least two pieces showing there each month.

Every month two artists are featured at the gallery. In July it will be the late Bruce N. Goodsell, a founder of the Artists' Cooperative Gallery. Also featured will be artist Sandi Gold. This month's show will be up from June 25th - July 25th.

The opening for the gallery takes place during the Westerly/Pawcatuck Art Stroll, on the first Wednesday of each month, 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Come out for a pleasant evening in beautiful Westerly.



Old Deerfield Craft Fair
